GEO-MECHANICAL STUDY OF THE COTIGNOLA MULTILAYERED RESERVOIR ROCK – SAN POTITO - COTIGNOLA UGS PROJECT: GEOLOGICAL RISK AND IMPACTS OF THE STORAGE CONVERSION.

Geological hazards estimation of the future (planned, designed) temporary gas storage facility in Cotignola field. Semi-analitical calculations, through Eshelby's techniques, of reservoir and ground surface deformations induced by field operations, through PS-InSAR measurements inversion. Numerical analysis for stress change on reservoir and seal, induced by injection/withdrawal of fluids in reservoir, through Coulomb failure function.
The study derives past and future deformations and stress changes around the field, with particular clue on subsidence and fault interactions.

Environmental study necessary for dredging activity of a dammed lake in Valle d’Aosta, Italy.. GEOPHI performed a study focused on the mobility of acrylamide compound in a flocculating agent, used during dredging de-silting activity. De-silting activity was successfully performed in September 2015.
 		 HIGH RESOLUTION MULTICHANNEL SEISMIC SURVEY

During the LSD2014 scientific cruise onboard R/V Urania GEOPHI acquired and post-processed more than 1500 km of 2D multichannel high resolution reflection seismic. The cruise focused on the low-stand Po river sediments in the central Adriatic Sea. The multichannel seismic data has been post-processed in house at GEOPHI.
