DIGITAL TOPOGRAPHIC DATBASE (GIS) USED AS A TOOL OF MANAGEMENT DURING A PROCEDURE OF PERMITTING FOR SEISMIC-3D ACQUISITION (2015)
(SGT, GEOFIZYCA TORUN, ALEANNA)

Geophi topographers processed over 50 single not geo-referred (unreadable local system) sections of the cadastral digital database spanned over an area of 90 km2 and merged them in a single database (shape file format) with international system of reference (WGS84 UTM 32N). The geo-database, daily upgraded by SGT and Geophi personnel, worked as a key instrument to easily link each cadastral parcel to the respective owner, to organize and streamline the permitting procedure and to monitor in-continuous the progress of work.
SAN POTITO - COTIGNOLA UGS PROJECT: INTEGRATED MONITORING OF INDUCED GROUND DEFORMATION
(2013-PRESENT)
(EDISON Stoccaggio SPA)

Continuous analisys of induced ground deformation by the integration of different techniques:
- Reservoir behavior (fluid pressure and volumes)
- GPS (local station)
- Satellite Interferometry
- Estensimeters
- Piezometers
- Geodetic levelling

The monitoring focuses on the discrimination between natural and induced factors affecting the ground movements around the San Potito - Cotignola underground gas storage.
Quality check of the data is reported weekly, and semiannual reports are prepared to satisfy the new “guidelines on seismicity, ground deformation and pore pressures monitoring of human activities” established by the Italian Minister of Economic Development.

CONCEPTION, DESIGN AND MOUNTING OF A MOBILE GEOSEISMIC LABORATORY (2015) (IAMC-CNR Neaples- ITALY)

GEOPHI was requested to ideate, develop and prototype a modular geophysical laboratory. The LAB consists of two ISO10 container modules, the workshop-warehouse and the control room. The prototyping and the final assembly were carried out in collaboration with BARUZZI S.r.L. in Cesena.
