SEISMIC MICROZONATION FOR LOCAL APPLICATION IN URBAN PLANNING REGULATIONS: GEOLOGICAL CONSULTING, GEOPHYSICAL ACQUISITION AND MAPS PRODUCTION (2014-2015) (REIA Srl, Municipality of Casalecchio di Reno, Bologna)

Seismic bedrock mapping based on geomorphology - geology of the area and on well data analysis, to discriminate zones with different seismic behavior expected. Planning and execution of 20 seismic passive (HVRS) and seismic active (MASW) acquisitions (borehole integrated) to categorize local terrains and create a seismic wave velocity (VS30) distribution map. The maps implement regional prescriptions (Regione Emilia-Romagna) and become prescriptive in urban planning regulations of the municipality (PSC, RUE, POC).
GPS-RTK COASTAL LINE MONITORING
(2014-2015)
(ISPRA Italy)

Within the Porto Viro GNL Terminal monitoring project, managed by ISPRA, GEOPHI performed a long term GPS-RTK coastal line survey. Two different surveys have been performed in December 2014-January 2015 and in June 2015. The data acquired, elaborated and correlated with an 8 years long dataset, allowed the reconstruction of the coastline geomorphological evolution.

GEO-MECHANICAL STUDY OF THE SAN POTITO RESERVOIR ROCK – SAN POTITO - COTIGNOLA UGS PROJECT: GEOLOGICAL RISK AND IMPACTS OF THE STORAGE CONVERSION
(2014)
(EDISON Stoccaggio S.p.A.)

Geological hazards estimation of the future (planned, designed) temporary gas storage facility in San Potito field. Semi-analitical calculations, through Eshelby's techniques, of reservoir and ground surface deformations induced by field operations, through PS-InSAR measurements inversion. Numerical analysis for stress change on reservoir and seal, induced by injection/withdrawal of fluids in reservoir, through Coulomb failure function.
The study derives past and future deformations and stress changes around the field, with particular clue on subsidence and fault interactions.
